Aim
 

Define a set of management and technical standards and practices for the development, implementation and operations of e-Government services offered by Macao Government, integrated and adhering to international good practices.

 
 
Objectives
 

O1) Establishing the de-facto IT standard in Macao SAR agencies;

O2) Survey international best practices in e-Government Standards – Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, United States, EU;

O3) Developing a repository of documented standards and practices for the development, implementation, and operations of e-Government services in Macao based on outcome of surveys;

O4) Specifying the requirements for a life cycle management system for these standards and practices;

O5) Designing a support structure for the implementation and operations of these standards at central as well as agency level;

O6) Developing a pool of MSARG officers competent in the application of these standards and practices.

D1) Report on e-Government Standards in Selected Agencies in Macao;

D2) Analysis of good practices in e-Government Standards – cases from 6 selected countries;

D3) Recommendations on Managerial and Technical Standards for e-Government in MSARG;

D4) Repository of initial set of standards;

D5) Specification of the proposed Standards Process for MSARG;

D6) Requirements for the e-Government Standards Management System;

D7) Training of government agencies;

D8)Support for Implementation of standards.
