Aim
 

To better understand perceptions and preferences of the general public in Macao towards e-Government Services, in order to recommend Macao SAR Government Agencies how to enhance intuitiveness and user friendliness of such services and promote their usability.

 
 
Objectives
 

O1) To study overall perception and attitude of Macau residents towards e-government and e-services in the following aspects;

O2) To analyze informational, transactional, provisional and operational information of the G2C government web services in terms of current usage, evaluation, expectation and perception;

O3) To perform observational and operational tests on the UI (user interface) of the Macao G2C government web-based services in terms of usability;

O4) To test the Accessibility of the government web pages according to the standard criteria (WCAG).

 
Deliverables
 

A report that contains:

D1) Survey results and analysis;

D2) Results of observational and operational tests;

D3) Accessibility test (WCAG) results;

D4) Problem identification of government e-service operations;

D5) Recommendations in accordance with the surveys, and observational and operational tests;

D6) Furthermore, a web-based application that collects the questionnaires data for the operational test.
